Pan's Labyrinth

This is a drawing I recently did of the Faun from the Spanish-language film "Pan's Labyrinth."  I enjoyed the design and mysterious nature of this character.  Below are some of my roughs including the initial pencil sketch.

Formula 1

I've been working on some new drawings between projects; the first to be completed is shown above.  For awhile I've wanted to do some F1- themed work, so this was a lot of fun. 

Because I wanted to avoid specifics about a driver or team - while still having a touch of personality - I painted the nose with the P-40 "shark mouth."  I think the pose parallels that of a pilot as well.
